Polished Pantry

Polished Pantry is an app designed to help users take items that are in their pantry and find recipes. Not only are they able to find recipes, but also instructional videos from YouTube. Users can login to their accounts that are stored in Firebase. At this time, anyone who would like to create an account would have to contact the admins (my team that created the app).

Liri is like iPhone’s Siri. However, while SIRI is a Speech Interpretation and Recognition Interface, LIRI is a Language Interpretation and Recognition Interface. LIRI will be a command line node app that takes in parameters and gives you back data.

Liri has the ability to retrieve the following information:

  • Your tweets from your Twitter account
  • Searches songs on Spotify
  • Searches movies in TMDB

This project utilizes Node.js to generate different types of flashcards: basic and cloze.

  • Basic flashcards, which have a front (“Who was the first president of the United States?”), and a back (“George Washington”).
  • Cloze¬†flashcards, which present partial text (“… was the first president of the United States.”), and the full text when the user requests it (“George Washington was the first president of the United States.”)

An Amazon-like storefront built using Node.js and MySQL. There are two views for the app: Customer and Manager. The Customer app takes in orders from customers and depletes stock from the store’s inventory. The Manager app allows you to track product sales across the store’s departments and then provides options to update stock and add new items.

Sequelized Burger

In this project, I created an application where users could add new burgers or “eat” existing burgers found in the database. When a new burger is added by the user, it populates under “Burgers Ready to Devour.” When the user clicks, “Devour It?”, the burger transition to “Devoured Burgers.”
